Page 16 Wednesday-December 31, 1980 American Legion Auxiliary William Russell Ledford Unit 293 By DENA GAMBETTA The Christmas party program held for Jefferson School Christmas party at the Citrus Fair pavilion, was deemed a huge success. We had a great Santa Claus who distributed close to 400 candy canes to all the children vresent. The auxiliary helped Santa by furnishing the candy canes and the helpers. Helpers were Maxine Bluhm, Elsie Karr, Theresa ToUini, Lee Silver and Dena Gambetta. On Wednesday of this week William Russell Ledford Unit 293, American Legion Auxiliary and the American Legion held their joint Christmas party with the Post doing all of the cooking. They actually had a most scrumptuous meal with ham, turkey, and all "Early Bird" statuses and the goodies that go with it.
