Photos by Recipe offered in appreciation of ..... community support From the Youth Hotline benefit Mexican Dinner served on Friday, November 14, here's the recipe for Chile Relleno en C.acerola, in appreciation of community support : 1 i/ large cans Ortega diced chilis 1% lbs. grated Monterey Jack cheese 2 cups milk 2 eggs i cup flour 1 tsp. salt In 9x13 greased casserole, put a layer of chili, a layer of cheese; repeat twice. Mix milk, eggs, flour and salt with beater, pour over above and bake at 350 for 50 minutes to I hour. (Leftovers are good cold, cut in small squares and use as an accompaniment for drinks. ) Remember, the Hotline. ll's for anyone who has a problem or who wants to talk. Call 433-6161 or 894- 2727. Clausen's election as "Dean" or leader of the largest Republican state delegation in the House came by a unanimous vote in a caucus of the California Republicans. "I'm greatly honored to be selected for this im- portant post," Clausen said after the vote. "Th will give me the opportunity to have a stronger voice and leverage in addressing the concerns of the peopie of our Redwood Empire." As Dean of the California Republicans, Clausen will chair the state's Republican Delegation to the House and serve as its strategist and coordinator on important California issues with the full 43 member California Congressional Delegation. "We hope to put to better use the full delegation's potential clout in pushing, on a hi-partisan basis, for statewide as well as our own local priorities," he added. The-Dean of the California Republicans has always hosted a weekly meeting of the members of his delegation. Another func- tion the Dean performs is to preside over breakfast forums at which the congressmen discuss vital issues of broad concern to the state with noted experts on the subject.
