Lovely Garden Wedding Julie Hunt is bride of Richard Johnson Julie Jean Hunt and Richard Kevin Johnson were married June 22 in the beautiful garden of Debbie and Carl Bogner on River Road, Cioverdale. The ceremony was pefformed by the Reverend Roy McCarty. . Vickey Madrid was Julie's maid of honor. Tracy Myers, Kristy Lingner, DawnDee Hunt, Leah Woody, and Lyn Edison were her bride's maids. i Bill Caldwell was Kevin's best man. Eugene Robertson, Darrin McCarty, Ray Victoria, D.J. Musgrave, and Ken Lavender were Kcvin's grooms men. Junior bridesmaids included Erin Pursell, Samantha Musgrave and Steplianie Hulbert. Junior grooms- men were Todd Hulbert, Robbie Hul- bert and Brian Pursell, The darling little flower girls were Julie's nieces, Christie, Kaysha, and Danielle Hunt. The Bride's parents are Dorothy and Ernest Hunt of Cloverdale. The groom's parents are Faye and Lester Johnson of Cloverdale. Kevin and Julie attended elemen- tary school and high school in Clo- verdale. They will make their home iri Chico. Julie and Kevin Johnson wish to express a very, special thank you to Debbie and Carl Bogner for providing their beautiful home and garden for the wedding. General Plan Report to be available by August 15th A report highlighting the items to be discussed at the Aug. 22 meet- ing of the General Plan Advisory Committee will be available for re- view or purchase at the City Planning Department Aug. 15. The report will contain the Initial Study prepared on the Preferred Alternative of the General Plan. The Initial Study will provide di- rection as to the magnitude of ira- pacts that can be expected by the Preferred Alternative and will serve as the baseline document for the En- vironmental Impact Report, accord- ing to Planning Director Joe Heckel. Anyone interested in obtaining a copy of this report may drop by or contact the Planning Department at 894-2521. All copies must be paid for before any are mailed out. Softball tourney to benefit Boys & Girls Club For you sports fans who love to watch or play softball, the .season's not over yet! With the help of the co-ed softball league, the ponytails and numerous volunteers, the Boy's & Girls Club will bc hosting it's first annuanl co- ed softball tourney on Sept. 7-8. The 12 team tournament will be held at the city park and high school fields starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday and at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. All proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club. If your team is inter- ested in playing, call Ron at 894- 3608 or Randy at 894-2895. Sign-up deadline is Aug. 24. Those interested in watching some good softball and enjoying good food and cheering your favorite team on, mark your calendars now. It's sure to be a good time for all. SRJC adds horticulture short courses Four additional short horticulture class will be offered this fall at Santa Rosa Junior College. Cindy Lampert New hairstylist at First Street Studios Cindy Lampert joined First Street Studios two weeks ago. She is a hair stylist and will bc working there Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and every other Saturday. She is married to Jim Lampert and has a year-and-a-half-old daughter, Jamie. She enjoys playing all kinds of sports and basketball, volleybaU and softball are her favorites. She plays Women's League Basketball and is a member of Eagle Sports World co-ed softball team.
