This strategy includes improv- ing the "look" of the community and enhancingits infrastructure. The strategy has divided the community into three target ar- eas, the Downtown, Highway 101 interchange areas and the South Industrial areas. He lauded Committee Member Doris Bauman for her excellent work in regarding un- wanted graffiti in the city. The Committee is working with a new plan wherein each member takes on a particular project. Heckel said he would have a report for the EDC regarding the new abatement policy at the August meeting. Tim Ward, Chairman of the Cloverdale Wine & Visitor Cen- ter said that a contract had been let to Craig Rose for work on the building's facade. Also Artist Marge Gray will begin work soon on the mural for the interior walls. A Grand Opening for the new Center is planned in con- junction with the annual Street Celebration Saturday, Sept. 27.
