All you have to do is submit two photos of yourself or representative--even your employees, from the ages of 0-18 years of age. Take your photos to Photo Graphix to make color copies and place your name and the name of your business on the back and leave in the Family Services box by June 13. You keep the originals--leave color or copies only. All proceeds will be used as a fund-raiser for Family Services. If not, a photo may be submitted with a gift certificate or a donated prize for the lucky winner (all tax write offs) and for a worthy cause. Third, second first and grand prize will be awarded for each category. Nothing found. Fire reported in decorative bark next to a house on Vista View Drive. Extinguished by off- duty Captain Rick Blackmon prior to fire spreadng to the house. Friday, June 20 Vehicle accident--mutual aid, Mendocino County north of the Sonoma County line. Accident resulted in a fire in the truck which spread to the wildland. No injuries. Smoke check at Chelsea Cir- cle. Cancelled prior to arrival. Saturday, June 21 Smoke check at East First St. Illegal burn pile found. Sunday, June 22 Structure Fire reported at 25 Chelsea Circle. Monday, June 23 Fire destroyed a pump house at 31819 Redwood Hwy. Cause undetermined. Rebecca Zezza, Kathlsen Brown, Kathy Elson and owner George Georgeson are dedicated to friendly service and great food. Lions need donations for fireworks display The Cloverdale Lions Club will once again sponsor Clover- dale's 21st Annual Fourth of July Public Fireworks Display on the evening of July 4, at the Cloverdale High School Football Field (Allen Memorial Field) at dusk. The cost of providing the fireworks h as increased beyond the means of any one club or organization. The Club is therefore soliciting financial support from all clubs, organizations, busi- nesses and individuals citizens. If you wish to contribute please send your contributions to the Cloverdale Lions Club, PO Box 763, Cloverdale, CA 95425. Donations will also be accepted by Lions Project Chairman Chuck Sibert at 1301 S. Cloverdale Blvd. $50,000 in tree, grants avmlable The Trust for Public Land and the California De' Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF) have announced that $50,000 in grant funds are available to communit for tree-planting projects. Increasing public benefits of trees in urban environments and stren public's commitment to expanding and main- taining California's urban forests through direct community involvement is the focus of this 1998 California ReLeaf/ California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection Tree-Planting Grant Program. The deadline to submit proposals is gust 14, 1997, and award decisions will be nounced on October 1, 1997. Grant recipients will have December 31, 1998 to complete their projects. Applicants do not need to be incorporated as organizations to apply but must be established groups or city-affiliated volunteer entities such ry boards or beautification committee $500 to $5,000 and only one proposal ma3 group. California ReLeaf, the Trust for Public Land's urban ry division has contracted with CDF to administer the gram. California ReLeaf works with community cities across the state to help them expand, enhan preserve their urban forests.
