Wednesday, May 21, 1980 - Page 13 I have from the of you what had Activity like to take to thank care of Manor Musings things while I was gone. Special thanks go to Diane Dominechelli for taking over and doing my job as well as hers as Physical Therapy Aide. You are greatly ap- preciated, Diane. Also thank you to the Orange Aide volunteers who came in after school to serve coffee and visit the Residents: Gina Colin, Steve Wineland and Steve Buck. In addition to that I want to express my gratitude to the regular volunteers for their faith- fulness in continuing to come during my absence, to the staff and residents for putting up with the inconvenience, and especially to our Ad- ministrator. Bob King, for being so understanding and willing to let me have so much time when I needed it. You are a Prince, Mr. King, I thank you ! Monday, May 19, was my first day back and I was looking forward to it. Tuesday, May 20, at 2 p.m. was the May Birthday Party for the residents. The CETA Band played for the en- tertainment. It is with deep regret that I have to announce the resignation of V/v/an Menicucci as Volunteer Auxiliary President. Due to Viv's very heavy schedule and tremendous work with the Cloverdale Bands' trip to Vienna she can no longer continue her duties in this capacity. We certainly are grateful for someone like Viv who is so willing to take on so much to help those in need. We are sorry to lose her. Cecelia Baker, former Vice President, will be taking over Vivian's duties until the end of the term. The Volunteer Auxiliary has generously purchased a beautiful umbrella patio set and extra umbrella for our residents to use in the summer time. So, to get them broken in right, our June volunteer luncheon will be held June 19, at t p.m. on the patio at which time they will be officially initiated. Plan to come for the festivities. Calendar Notables: July 3rd will be a BBQ for the residents to celebrate the 4th of July. If you are a family member, or you would just like to help, come and join us!
