We have learned from Holly Werner, who among other things is the costume designer for the Cloverdale Performing Arts Center, that the time frame for last week's photo of students was 1875-1885. The modern stucco school was built in 1917 and functioned as both grammar and high school until 1936. It replaced the old wooden Cloverdale School that was originally built in 1864.
