Freshman Ryan Knowles leaps high into the air as he competes in the long jump. )WS through The Cloverdale Eagles JV base- ball team had two games last week. The first game against Elsie Allen in Santa Rosa saw a 12-0 victory for the Eagles. Tim Karis pitched four innings and gave up two runs. Josh Holden pitched one inning and gave no runs. Isaiah Warren went two for three and scored three runs and had one double; Jason Hibbeln went four for four and scored two runs, and had three doubles; Andre Delagnes went two for four and scored one run; Axay Patel went one for one and scored one run and made a diving catch in the outfield. "Captain Jeff" went two for three and scored one run. On Friday, the Eagles had their second North Central League I South game against Clear Lake. The junior Eagles lost three to two in extra innings. Isaiah Warren pitched seven innings and gave up two runs; Jason Hibbeln pitched one inning and gave up one run. Andre Dela- gnes went two for four and scored one run; Jason Hibbeln went two for four; Corey Kenny, one for two, and Logan Tate went one for two. This week it's a double header against St. Helena on Tuesday (May 3) starting at 3:30 p.m. and Thursday the Eagles play Fort Bragg at home at 3:30 p.m. Games are at the Clo- verdale High School ball field. #20 freshman Jazmin Orozco sits back on a pitch and drives the ball down the line for a double in a recent home game. ..........
