Girls lose to Clear Lake By Roberta Lyons The Cloverdale Eagles softball team suffered two stunning de- feats last week, taking away their North Central League I lead. The Eagles first lost to arch- rival Clear Lake on Tuesday, 4- 3 and then suffered a surprise defeat at the hands of the Kelseyville Indians on Friday, 1-0. The Eagles had previously defeated the Indians, 4-0. Both Cloverdale and Clear Lake were undefeated in league play up until the Tuesday, Apr. 22 game. The teams will meet two more times before the sea- son is over. The Eagles play Lower Lake, away, on Apr. 30 and on May 2 there is a home game with Fort Bragg.
