They were the children of Marie and Armand Dehay, early residents of Cloverdale. Armand Dehay was French, and a follower of the French Utopia community known as the Icarians founded by Etienne Cabet, The ideals of the co mumty centred mou; uahty through sharing of good." Marie Leroux Dehay, wife of Armand Dehay. She was the daug hter of a famous 19th century French Philosopher. This picture was taken in 1941. She was born in 1853.
