Page 10, Cloverdale Reveille, March 26, 1997 Mary Larson talks on flower arrangements Guest speaker at the Green Thumb Garden Club meeting Mar. 19 was Mary Larson whose demonstrations focused on sim- ple but balanced flower arrange- ments. The flowers used were all from Cloverdale gardens. Her talk also showed how she finds and uses flowers in her garden at different times of the year. Mary was thanked for her expertise and inspiration. At the business meeting that followed Millie Laudie an- nounced plans for the club's par- ticipation with high school stu- dents on Community Unity Day. Club members will be working together on their Adopt-a-High- way project. Members are preparing for their annual plant sale to take place Saturday, April 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in front of Ace Hardware. Come early for a great selection. The Green Thumb Garden club is open to all women who have a sincere interest in gardening. Regular meetings are on the third Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m. at the Briarwood clubhouse.
