Dan Teldeschi 611-740 took second, Jim Campbell rode a last game of 252 into third and Mel Barber grabbed fourth with 733. Fifth through twelfth went to Troy Allen 725, Dave Ricetti 724, Tim Keehn 723, Russ Herman 720, Tom Marley 719, Ray Short 714, AI Pritchard 713 and Obed Cramer 708. The coveted all-events trophy was won by Dan Teldeschi with a handicap total of 2178. Dan rolled series of 596, 584 and 611 for a 199 average. Second through ninthe was won by Wayne Hackworth 2167, Steve Morrow 2152, Jim Campbell 2129, Obed Cramer 2129, Dave Crayford 2124, Dave Ricetti and Dave Parsley 2089 and Tim Keehn 2073. The tournament's high scratch game, series and all events, all went to Dave Parsley. Dave rolled a 279 for a 763 series on the way to an all events score of 2089. Steve Morrow 1963 and Dave Crayford 1944 also turned in outstanding scratch totals. The Cloverdale Mens Bowling Association's annual tournament was held last week at Cloverdale Bowl. The tournament consisted of a team event, singles, doubles and all-events, with trophies awarded for first in each event. We had a good turnout of twenty teams, thirty-five doubles and seventy singles. The team event was won by Pardini's Body Shop, led by Dave Crayford's 714 scratch series, and supported by Spencer Vail 276-656, Dan Teldeschi 596, Dennis Lish 537 and Ed Gokan 540. Pardini's scratch game and series of 1119 & 3043 were the highest ever rolled at Cloverdale Bowl. Thier Handicap total was 3484. Second place went to Cloverdale Products with 3450, led by Steve Morrow 660 and Dave Ricetti 637. Third was Carl Young Construction of Healdsburg with 3398. Fourth went to The Pizza Queen with 3345. Some other outstanding scores bowled in the team event were Ken Kirk 644, Bernie Day 633, Keith Warner 630, Rich Price 624, Bob Mellon 622 and George Wiget 258-619. First place in the doubles went to Wayne Hackworth and Elmo Petrocchi with 1455. F.C. Bray shot a 683 to lead him and his partner Paul Pasquini to second with a 1420. The Menicucci brothers, Lee and Lynn grabbed third with 1418. Steve Morrow rolled 268-708, his high series ever, in teaming up with Craig Keehn for fourth with 1411. Fifth went to Keith Warner and Rich Odiorne 1406 and Russ Herman and Tom Pirinoli took sixth with 1398. Cloverdale Auto Parts upped their record to 3-0 in the opening game Sunday night, downing Satan's Spirits 85-60. For Cloverdale Auto Parts Ken Todd scored 29 points, Ran Smoot 20, Todd Smoot 18, and Mark Wiget 1O, Dave Domenichelli 4 and Joe Ramazotti 6 to lift their team into a tie for first place. Satan's Spirits' loss put them in a tie for last place with Geyserville at 0-3. Four players also scored in double figures in their effort. Rich Price scored 16, Mike Wlodarezyk and Lloyd Weer each had 14, and Scan Daly added 12. Beck's Fire Apparatus easily downed the Depot Hotel 90-50 with all players scoring in double figures. John Gastineau had 23, John McMillan and Adrian Rhmazotti had 16 points each, Rick Blackmon 13, and Randy Peters 12. Steve Birehfield rounded the scoring with 10. Joel Morgan scored 15 for the Depot, while Robert  Leavitt and Ran Whittaker helped with 10 each. On his first night back in league, Dave shot his fourth 300 game, narrowly missed another in the mens tour- nament with his 279, and then came back Monday night in league with 265, 257and 279, for an 801 series. Dave is the only one to ever have shot an 800 series at Cloverdale Bowl. Another bowler on a Hot Streak is 15 year old Junior Bowler Zachary Vail. After a slow start, Zach has raised his average to 190 with 5 series over 600 in the last 7 weeks, the highest 681. Zach is getting ready for the juniors marathon fund raiser event, The juniors will at- tempt to bowl for 24 hours straight, each bowler will secure pledges in advance for each game he can bowl without stopping. The money will be used to finance their trip to the state tournament. The marathon will be held in late Feb. or Mar.
