"We originally booked them for April," said Cloverdale Performing Arts Center Artistic Director Yav6 Guzman, "But they were invited to tour in Europe during that time, so we found another date." Founding members of Delphi Trio Liana B6rub6, violinist, and Michelle Kwon, cellist, are joined by pianist Elizabeth Schumann. The third founding member, Jeff LaDeur, recently left the trio to focus on his burgeoning solo piano career. "Elizabeth is a perfect fit for us, her playing is both dynamic and subtle and we are thrilled to be performing and touring with her," said B6rube and Kwon. In addition to winning awards and concertizing, all three artists share a profound belief that classical music is for everyone. to town, Feb. 2 Delphi's program at CPAC will be a real treat for both classical music lovers and those who are not as familiar with the extraordinary delights of Mozart, Beethoven and Dvorak. "In a world of sound bites and over- stimulation, we encourage one another and our audiences to listen, to be open to what the music says here and now. We invite an authentic, real-time emotional experience in collaboration with you, our audience," said B6rub& Delphi Trio pushes the boundaries to make classical music immediate and meaningful to all. The show is on Feb. 2 at 7:30 p.m. The theatre is located at 209 N. Cloverdale Blvd. Tickets are $30, and are available online at cloverdaleperformingarts.com; in person at Mail Center, Etc at 207 N. Cloverdale Blvd 707-894-3222; or at the door if available. -- Submitted by Dobie Edmunds Sculpture trail looking for 2019-20 artists The call for artists for the 2019-20 Cloverdale Sculpture Trail, a juried exhibit, is now available. Guidelines, a timeline and entry forms for the exhibit can be downloaded from cloverdalesculpturetrail.org, or call the scnintor trail phone number, 707-894-4929, to request a call. Entry deadline is Feb. 27. There is no entry fee. For the 2019-20 Cloverdale Sculpture Trail an additional prize, "First Place" ($500), has been added, which will be awarded along with "Best of Show" ($1,000), "Honorable Mention" ($250). "People's Choice" award will again be available to the viewing public to vote for their favorite sculpture. Each selected sculptor exhibiting in the 2019-20 trail will receive $250 to assist with expenses. There will be will a video on participating sculptors to show at the trail's opening reception on Saturday, June 8. A new narrated, audio, self-guided walking tour for the 2019-20 Cloverdale Sculpture Trail with audio from the actual artists will also be produced. The trail can be explored worldwide by downloading from Google Play or Apple App Store by downloading the free Otocast app. Judges for the trail are Jann Nunn and Jill Plamann. Oakland-based artist Jann WINE BUDDAH -- Bryan Tedrick's sculpture installed in front of Dahlia & Sage Market. Nunn has exhibited, lectured and held residencies internationally and throughout the United States since 1987. Her work has been shown in London, Seoul, D(isseldorf, Mexico City, New York and throughout the Bay Area. Best known for her sculptures, Nunn has created several large-scale outdoor works in public places, including Burning Man 2001, the Portland Clifftop Sculpture Park in the United Kingdom and SKYART Festival in Anchorage, Alaska. Jill Plamann studied art at the San Francisco Art Institute and graduated with honors. In 2005, Plamann Photo provided Wine Buddah being founded Hammerfriar Art Gallery and Framing Services in Healdsburg. She received the North Bay Bohemian BOHO award in 2012. In August 2017 Plamann retired after 40 years of presenting art and owning her gallery. Currently she is a member of the Collections Committee at the Museum of Sonoma County. The 2019-20 Cloverdale Sculpture Trail begins April 26. How many new sculptures will be selected and how many current sculptures will leave?
